Sworkit ← Home Fitness and Training PlansFitness simple facts How to do inside and outside AbsDificulty: HardImpact Level: Normal Body Pieces Objective: abdominal, lower back, quadriceps Instructions In this advanced core exercise, start sitting on the floor with legs bent in front of you. Then, keeping your back straight, raise your hands from the ground, and raise your feet while you kneel in your chest. This is the "En" position of exercise, during which you are contracting your abs and hip flexors to keep on top. From here, back with a straight column and straighten your legs in front of you to act as a counterbalance to compensate for the weight of your upper body. Keep your abdominals hired to support your lower back and tune your chin while you lean back. Just before your shoulder blades touch the floor, stop leaning backwards and keep this "Out" position. Then lift your upper body back up from the ground and draw your knees to your chest to return to position "En". Repeat this "In Out" movement with control during exercise. If you feel tension on the lower back, stop and try some of the regression exercises. How to make it easier In and Out AbsBuild up this intense exercise with less intense exercises to strengthen its core and lower back like: Quadraplex, Swimmer, T Raise, Sit-ups and Rider Crunches.
